InkToText is in beta. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to request deletion.
Data we collect
If you sign in, we store your email address through Supabase Auth. Sign-in codes are sent by email using Resend.
When you convert notes, your uploaded images or PDF pages are sent to OpenAI so InkToText can transcribe handwriting, recognise headings, preserve bullets and checkboxes, and locate diagrams. We do not store your original uploaded images or PDF pages by default.
For signed-in users, we store conversion history so you can return to recent results. That history includes the filename, page count, credits used, converted Markdown output, and timestamps.
We also store beta usage records, conversion job reservations, basic app events, rate-limit records, and feedback messages. Feedback may include your email address if you are signed in.
How we use data
We use this data to provide handwriting conversion, manage beta credits, prevent abuse, debug failures, improve conversion quality, respond to feedback, and keep the service reliable.
We do not sell personal information.
Third-party processors
InkToText uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, conversion history, beta usage, feedback, and app events. We use OpenAI for handwriting transcription and diagram detection, Resend for email delivery, and Vercel or similar hosting infrastructure for deployment and server logs.
Retention and deletion
Conversion history remains available while your account is active and the beta is running, unless you ask us to delete it. Rate-limit, usage, app event, and feedback records are retained as needed to operate and improve the beta.
To request deletion of your account, conversion history, or feedback records, email hello@cosyappslab.com.
Sensitive information
Handwritten notes can contain personal, confidential, financial, health, or work information. Only upload content you are comfortable processing through the services described above.
